Hey there Reader,
Most people have a travel bucket list.
Naturally, I have a photography bucket list.
And it has gotten slightly out of control.
I want to photograph...
-a whale breaching
-an orca in the wild.
-the Milky Way over my tent.
-a glacier calving.
-bioluminescent water.
-a ridiculous cloud inversion.
-...and apparently about 145 other things.
So instead of keeping this chaos trapped inside my brain, I turned it into one gigantic resource:
But here's what I love about creating a photography bucket list:
It changes the question from...
“Where should I travel next?”
to...
“What do I want to experience?”
And suddenly your camera becomes an excuse to hike the mountain, stay up for the stars, watch the weather, learn about wildlife, talk to people, and notice things you otherwise would've walked straight past.
That's the kind of photography I'm interested in.
Not just prettier pictures, but a life worth photographing.
