This month's favorite photo is from Las Vegas inside the Bellagio Conservatory!

Can you believe I snapped this photo from just an iPhone???

Adventure Ideas for June

🌊 1. Chase Waterfalls While They’re Still Flowing Strong

Why June? Snowmelt season’s still goin’ strong in many spots, which means waterfalls are showing off big time.
Bucket List Pick: Check out Columbia River Gorge in Oregon or Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride, Colorado. Pack a wide-angle lens and maybe a rain poncho… because this is the good kind of getting soaked.

🌼 2. Find Late Blooming Wildflowers in Higher Elevations

Why June? As the lower elevation blooms fade, the mountains start strutting their floral stuff.
Bucket List Pick: Head to Mount Rainier, Glacier National Park, or Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Think alpine meadows, bursts of color, and maybe even a few lingering patches of snow for contrast. Wildflower + waterfall combo? Chef’s kiss.

🏖️ 3. Have a Mermaid Beach Day… Somewhere New

Why June? It’s finally warm enough to take a salty dip without screaming.
Adventure Twist: Don’t hit your go-to beach. Try a new coastal town, a freshwater lake, or a secret cove that requires a short hike in.
Mermaid Pick: Check out La Jolla’s sea caves in California, Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan, or the cliffside beaches of Lake Powell for something fresh and photogenic.

🎒 4. Do a Sunrise-to-Sunset Hiking Challenge

Why June? The longest daylight hours of the year = maximum adventuring.
Bucket List Idea: Choose a trail with multiple peaks or viewpoints and hike from golden hour to golden hour. Bring snacks, layers, and your camera - bonus points if you end it with s’mores.
Pro Tip: This is a great day to experiment with timelapse or golden hour photography!

✈️ 5. Take a “Shoulder Season” Trip to the Southern Hemisphere

Why June? While summer’s heating up in the north, it’s off-season in dreamy southern spots - think fewer crowds and moody, atmospheric beauty.
Bucket List Pick: Go wine tasting and hiking in Chile’s Casablanca Valley, road trip New Zealand’s South Island, or explore the misty mountains of Patagonia.
Adventure, affordability, and cool weather = travel jackpot.

Adventure Amazon Product for June

This month's adventure spotlight is....the East Oak pop-up canopy!

This is a game changer for full time RVers and luxury campers. Plus, it helps my poor skin avoid the dreaded sunburn and all of those pesky bug bites😖

I would also like to point out that I am an extremely lazy traveler and wouldn't even recommend this if it weren't easy to put up. Alas, I got it up in about 5 minutes and tore it down in about 7!

Below is a picture of this baby gracing our riverside campsite with its presence.

Also, if you are looking for recommendations on adventure gear, I recently started a new Instagram account to give reviews so that you don't waste your money!
