Was June 2024 my most dangerous month yet?! (The Bucket List Mermaid Newsletter)

How was your June? Cause mine was very adventurous...or dangerous. You tell me!

In this monthly update, I will share recent posts, YouTube videos, and the FIRST look at the new podcast *happy screams*.

Also, there is a LOT of content linked here. I know - I've been a busy little mermaid in between almost dying. So, pick your favs and get adventuring!

June Update

Oh, boy. I don't know where to begin.

First, we had a very relaxing stay on the river with the RV. It was a little tough digging out of the snow in the mountains, but we made it!

After that, things started getting a bit iffy. After going to Buena Vista, we were shortly evacuated by a forest fire?! You read that right...a forest fire.

As we were evacuating, my mother and I started making some very silly mistakes (all of which will be discussed in an upcoming podcast episode).

Since we had to cancel our rafting trip near Buena Vista, we decided to reschedule for the Royal Gorge.

Long story short, it was way too dangerous to raft. We fell out on lower-class V rapids, boats flipped, my mum got sucked under the raft, and we paddled for about 10 minutes to save a boy's life! Again...this is going to be a podcast episode. So, stay tuned!

Overall, it was a very chaotic (but adventurous😎) month to kick off the start of summer 2024!
